Really good for watching sport, if you can get a seat near a screen. Otherwise it gets pretty busy and becomes difficult to watch if you're standing. Always a lively atmosphere which is good. Beer selection and quality is very good and the Guinness is probably the best in Chelmsford

Usually a good pub, but on my last visit, the landlord didn't like my friend removing a flip flop from a hanging basket and then proceeded to assault him. Great entertainment.
