It's a shame they closed their coffee shop and changed the upstairs as it was a great space to sit and look at books. This has led me to buying books i probably would not have.
A great bookshop where you find most popular books, you can order any book without any extra charge or prepay. Nice cooperative staff. You can find gift bags and cards.
What a great place to sink your head into a book. The staff are knowledgeable and care and we always drop in when we are local.
I love Foyles Chelmsford. Small shop but full of excellent books variety. Best though is the treasure trove of book knowledge and assistance given by the professional staff. Amazon couldn't compare well in a million years
