It's best to separate payments for example pay for 4 hours them pay again for another 4 hours it's cheaper.
There was always room here and the price for parking here all day is one of the more reasonable in chelmsford. The machines there during my use of the car park were always broken. They nearly all took money, but when paying by card, it never worked. At 5.50 a day, its a pain trying to have change every day. The "Pay by phone" app is much easier to do. Its another 40p dearer a day, but far less hassle. If you use your catd for everythinh, o would reccomend downloading the app as a backup.
Having at least half of the payment machines working would definitely improve things. I'm not used to having to try five machines before I can pay.Talking of paying; it will be interesting to see if I've been charged twice as the first time I tried to pay with my credit card I didn't get a ticket.
