Took the kids for the Halloween themed days October 2018. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we as parents did too! They loved picking their own pumpkins in the field and loved the maze. We went on the tractor ride too which the kids found highly amusing when the trailer we were on went over bumpy ground! We also took them Easter 2018, which they enjoyed as best as possible (Good Friday, and was pouring with rain unfortunately!) However we made the most of it and they enjoyed the Easter egg hunt and loved seeing the newborn lambs and chicks!!;
Not a bad day out for the kids, not that many animals to be honest but it's a farm not a zoo. Does have crazy golf and a few activities going on, better in the summer. They do a good hot chocolate.
A great afternoon out for the young family. The owners constantly invest in the place, and every year, it gets better and better.There's indoor and outdoor activities, the former being a cafe with a large soft play area, and through latter being, well, to numerous to mention.The staff are well trained and friendly, and no matter how full the car park gets, inside the farm never seems to crowded.Overall, well worth the entrance fee
What elf-tastic fun we had!This is a separate festive event to their Father Christmas Experience and so while you dont get to meet him - it's a fabulously festive family day out.For younger children it's great as you do it at your own pace. We loved meeting the elf in the Christmas tree walk, where the magic glasses changed the lights into reindeer or snowmen. The Elf-on-the-Shelf show is brilliant and the 3D film of Rocket the Reindeer was a lovely story.The best bit is that the children get to make-an-elf, like make-a-bear but an elf, to take home! We did the Candy Cane Hunt around the farm and picked up a well earned candy cane. Then there is all the fun of Marsh Farm including animals, funfair rides, playgrounds, crazy golf and indoor play.Before we left we wrote a letter to the North Pole and then it was time to head home, the little one cuddling his new best elf friend, chattering about the elves he met and the animals. he saw. Everything is included in the price and its a great visit to get you in the festive mood and definitely an Elf Adventure. Can't recommend enough no hidden prices really reasonable prices too.! Thanks marsh farm.
Father Christmas ExperienceThe Father Christmas Experience.... This event exceeded my expectations. My 5 year old daughters attention was held from start to finish. She thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Fabulous attention to detail, and amazing staff who play the parts perfectly.Well worth every penny. The only extra charges there are, are for the Santa photos that start from 6, and the outfits and sounds for the teddy's the children make. It's 10 for any choice of outfit available and between 3 or 4 for the recorded sounds to pop inside the bear. Obviously drinks and food are not included apart from the yummy short bread you are offered when visiting Mother Christmas and the fudge gift adults are given from Santa.
