Good little park for a dog walk and lovely in the summer.
Recently (August 2018) revamped with a new children's play area, and also boasts a lawn bowls club and four council-run tennis courts. No toilets at site, with existing facilities being "locked up" and not in use now for a number of years.
Great park with tennis courts, picnic tables, young childrens play area and doggy doodoo bins but Chelmsford Council have permanently closed down the public toilets at Lionmede in June 2018; contact the council to request getting these reopened please.
Came here with the kiddies and had a wonderful time. It has recently been renovated so it looks great
Simple play area for young kids, and a large grassy area for football or dog walking. Other than that there's not a lot there. Edit... A brand new playground area for the kids has recently been built.
