Been here twice and here's what happen:First time the dentist was 15 minutes late even though I was the first patient so no appointments before me. Not said anything this time though an apology would have been appreciated. Second apppintment today again I'm the first patient. 15 mins late into the appointment the nurse casually started to put out her gear and prepare everything. 25 mins later still no sign of the dentist. Asked the receptionist what's going on she said dentist is stuck in traffic but no apology from the staff of updates as to what's going on. Shortly after the receptionist cheekily completely and unapologetic asks me and another patient if I want to come back another time. Absolutely appalling and unacceptable. Three things are clear. One is they do not care people take time off work for appointments. Two is that they have no interest in delivering a basic level of service which is a must even for cheap rates they charge and three train it's staff how you deal with customers with manners. They may be the cheapest dentist in Chelmsford but without a question is not worth the hassle and the trouble so steer away from them if you can.

The receptionist just put the phone down on me. Hearing is believing, give them a call and see how receptive they are!
This place is awful. Ive been here numerous times to fix one problem and I ended up coming back to fix more. For instance, I first irst I went there because I had to get a filling done on my front tooth. Fast forward 2 months I had a big lump above that same front tooth. My dentist said its just a blocked saliva gland its ok dont worry about it come back in 6 months. Fast forward a couple months, I couldnt bite food as it hurt to eat. I came back and he ended up telling me oops my bad that big lump is actually your tooth decaying and that I need Canal root surgery. Within the same year, he also gave me a filling in another tooth and that has come loose so he had to perform root canal surgery once more. Between appointments I had to wait a month. Only to then, 2 weeks later after my final canal root surgery my tooth snapped in half whilst eating soft chicken.
Just been to this practice and the dentist was extremely unwell, she could barely speak and I politely asked if she was unwell. She told me that she was unwell with a cold and I expressed that I had concerns about my son catching it due to him having asthma. At this point the dentist turned off the light and told me it was better that I found another dentist, seemed put out by the fact that I had asked. The dental nurse in the room was very polite and made arrangements to see another dentist whom was not unwell, by which point the dentist had already stormed out. Waited in the waiting room again for another woman to come and tell us we could not be seen, took me down to the practice manager who said that her dentist had laryngitis, snarled at me and was extremely aggressive. Waited 2 weeks for this appointment and took half a day off work and school to take my son for a filling before the Christmas holidays. All to be made to feel that I was nothing but an inconvenience because I dared to question the fact that their dentist was so unwell she could barely even speak! Practice manager told me I was just an NHS patient, pointed out that I was actually paying for treatment for my son (white filling) and therefore I was actually private (not that it should make any difference!). Total breach in health and safety and it has been reported to appropriate bodies. If my son catches anything as a result I will be pursing the practice for damages. In short do not even think about visiting this practice unless you want to risk your health and be abused in the process.
