Very popular. Very good service. Very good food. Good atmosphere, dimmed lighting and a real fire. You won't just visit this place once.
I went to The Lion Inn to celebrate my boyfriends mums birthday, the food was amazing and staff worked to seat us as quick as they could. Would like to thank Jasmin for making our evening more pleasant and going the extra mile to help us celebrate. Would definitely recommend.
Good food in a nice atmosphere. Slightly slow service but friendly staff. The set menu was good but not a great choice of desserts, they are all mini puds, if like me you're a dessert lover prepare to be let down. Overall relaxed dining, friendly staff and I would definitely go back.
Wonderful restaurant: stylish, elegant dining rooms and hotel, and fabulous dining experience with superb food. Service of course is excellent. Great for groups, although the large open dining hall is rather noisy. Only downside? they don't take bookings unless there are ten or more of you. Pity.
Only came for some food on a cold Saturday afternoon. The food was superb and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. My gosh & chips was delicious and my only complaint was the portion size, although I did go large. Lovely lion inn beer as well. Great spot.
