Offered accepted on a property advertised by McCartney. Waited for 5 weeks to receive a memorandum of sale and to allow our mortgage company to send a surveyor in. In the meantime, the vendor lost their purchase and we waited around whilst the vendor found a new property. McCartney seemed to slow everything down, bottom line is we lost our buyer due to the wait and the vendor found a new house and re sold all within a day. Prior to us having our offer accepted the house was on the market for over 3 months. Our first experience in the property for 20 years, didn't leave us with confidence dealing with estate agents in the future.
