Me and my boyfriend are first time buyers, I looked in many estate agency's and William h Brown was the friendliest and most helpful from the beginning. Our mortgage advisor Tom was easy to talk to would explain everything in a way you can understand, Sarah has been amazing and chased everyone to get our completion done on the date we needed, very lovely lady I couldn't of asked for a better person on the case. I would highly recommend William h Brown.
We are due to move out on 16th January 2018 and paid our rent in advance. They sent a letter on 14th December 2018 advising us that the balance due between the 17th December to 17th January was 0.00, but 2 weeks later received various emails advising us we are in arrears!!!! There excuse was it was an error on their behalf but must still be paid. Bearing in mind we paid a month in advance. Staff are extremely rude and clearly the people working there have no idea what they are doing. Obviously employing a load of morons with no experience. Made a formal complaint and still await a response as they also lost our tenancy agreement that was required for our new rental property!!! Raised a compliant on 18th December 2018 and still await a response! Compliant has also be copied to the ombudsmen who is monitoring the situation and will be calling me tomorrow. Any landlords looking to use the company I would advise against as our current landlord has also been formally complaining with no success. Should be shut down if you ask me.
I had a fantastic experience with William H Brown and would definitely recommend them to anyone I know. This was the 4th time I've bought and sold houses and easily the best experience I've had. They appointed a sales progressor who was amazing and kept me constantly updated. Her experience to foresee issues saved us weeks if not months. She knew exactly when things weren't quite going to plan with the solicitors and remedied them. All the staff have been incredibly helpful and polite. If I phoned and someone wasn't available they always called me back promptly. All round great customer service.
