Cant fault these guys, they made my move very simple indeed. a couple of small surprises in the property, no fault of theirs, but they worked tirelessly to get those resolved and ensure I was both happy and comfortable in my new home. Special thanks to Paul and Harry for all their help
Imagine my surprise when property stop told me that the landlandy of the property i wanted to rent was a lovely lady. And that she'd be more than willing to participate in my refurbing of her property.Shows how out of touch they are, because it turns out she was one of the most disliked people in the close. Also, after id spent many many hours and lots of money trying to improve her property, she pulled the rug out from underneath my feet and basically disagreed to pay me back the full amount. I had to keep chasing them to chase her to get my money back. They basically dont care about you, theyre more interested in sending you important looking emails in block capitals regarding inspections, and trying to force you into having loft safety checks by the local housing company - even though im paying to rent the whole property - i had to basically argue with property stop to tell them not to come.So they just gave my number (Without my consent) to the loft people, who kept ringing me. I didnt want to know!Me and my girlfriend had given property stop my number, i told them to use mine as the main number but for some unknown reason they were completely incapable of doing this, they kept ringing her, and asking for me. And each time we told them this they done it again. and again. and again.what are you doing in that office??After moving into the flat i discovered that it had not been cleared completely, the cupboards inside, and the shed outside, and the loft, were are completely jammed with junk. After calling to enquire, i was told that it was 'part of the flat'. More actual arguments ensued to have these cleared.I can guarantee 100% i will never use these fools again.Thanks
I let my property using Property Stop to find a tenant.I found all the staff i came into contact with extremely professional, helpful and knowledgable. I would strongly recommend this company to any Landlord looking to find tenants. After my tenant disappeared owing unpaid rent, leaving the property filthy etc they were on hand to provide advice and assist with the recovery of the tenants deposit. This was after i chose to manage the property myself so Property Stop were under no obligation to assist or provide advice.
Rented a flat from them in 2015 to 2016. Always paid rent on time and when we left we cleaned the flat to an immaculate condition.We were deducted a lot of money from our deposit for placing a coat hanger on the wall which we sought permission for. I placed a large mirror in the bathroom as it didn't have one and apparently the landlord was happy with that. Of course he would be we made his flat look better.Minor painting scratches were also charged. I work in property so know the market well.I wouldn't recommend and would avoid if you want your deposit back!
