I hired a car from Eurocar on a few occations i have always found the staff to be friendly and the cars to be clean.
The customer service that I received here was fabulous. Keiran handled my booking from the beginning up to me returning the car.I will use Europcar again without hesitation.Thank you Keiran.
**Avoid**Unhelpful unfriendly arrogant staff.I arrived about 20 minutes before my actual booking time to pick up my hire car.Everything was confirmed and then he asked for a deposit of 250 of which I didn't realise was needed to hire the car.Obviously being put on the spot and not having 250 on me he was so insistent about getting the booking cancelled.I panicked at this point went outside to make some phone calls to arrange alternative payment, by the time I finished the phone call to make alternative payments, i went back into the office to pay the deposit he had already cancelled the booking without me asking them to.Therefore leaving me stranded in Chelmsford with no means of getting home and now also no means of getting back to Chelmsford to pick my car up that's in the garage right next to Europcar.the feeling I got from the member of staff because it was last knockings that he didn't want to be working there and all he wanted to get out of that office as soon as possible.So the outcome of this I have no car to get to and from work and to pick my car up when it's finished and I'm not going to be refunded.Absolute scam!
So phoned up booked a van and paid up front. No issues their, the phone operator was very polite as helpful........28 mins later get a phone call to say no vans are available till after the weekend so now Im stuck as I was meant to drive to Nottingham to collect a machine, also waiting to see if I get charged a canacellatiom fee as I was not the one who cancelled and yet receive an email claiming I did, also have to wait 10days now till I get my refund so cant even go anywhere else as I have to pay another 500 storage fees for my machine as I now ca t collect it. No offer of a discount towards a larger vehicle or future hire. Poor customer service and wouldnt recommend them to anyone, simple can hire cost me 545 in wasted time and charges.
Brilliant rental station. Cars are perfect and the staff are truly first class.
