I moved from London to Chelmsford and registered with rivermead . The receptionists are always friendly and always book me at a suitable time and efficiently too . The nurses are great and the one doctor Ive seen was also very thorough and polite . Id recommend this surgery highly.
An absolute joke. Impossible to get an appointment. Terrible communication between receptionists and Drs. Badly managed. Just poor.
No one ever answers the phone and when they do they're all booked up
Getting an appointment is impossible in that place, on 11th of April morning I have been called 98 times before someone picked up the phone and told that there were no appointment available for that day and force me to go to after hours in Broomfield hospital. Today I called to make an appointment for 22nd of August and although its after a month later, I have been told to call in the morning to book an appointment as there were no appointment available. Its simply ridiculous !!!!
I was initially very worried about joining this doctor surgery due to the poor reviews online. Having been a patient at the surgery now for around 5 months and having numerous appointments, I don't have any negative comments at all. In fact I'd say this is the best practice I have been to. My appointments are usually on time, all the staff are very polite and helpful, and they are always happy to assist you in any way they can.
