Always a pleasure to come back to this centrally located hotel in Chelmsford.Fantastic service, friendly staff.Always clean and well maintained and such comfortable beds
Clean and comfortable stay. Staff were helpful. Only thing was is that the times for breakfast didn't start till 6.30. Would have been better to start earlier for midweek comutters. Also no selection of tea and coffee in the room and no biscuits. Expected this for somewhere that claims to be more premier than other places!
I come here often on work trips. Keep getting put in disabled rooms and they won't change my room when I request it. Bed too low, keep slipping down middle of mattress, often no bath. All useful for disabled people, but I'm not disabled and I don't appreciate being dumped in here against my will every visit. Also, the temperature control keeps changing after you've set it. You'll set it to 19 and a few minutes later, it'll jump back up to 21.
Central . Lovely staff. Breakfast has a huge amount of choice . Only thing that let's it down is the lack of parking . There are limited disabled spaces though. The multi story isn't far away and not expensive
Cooked breakfast was very dry and over cooked but Edible. Rooms were tidy although the towels had marks on them the forst night. We're clean the second night. Serviceable hotel. Would have given 5 stars if not for the points mentioned.
