Episode 1: Booked in for a recall check - "it should take about 15 mins so you can wait for the check then book in for another time if it needs work" - got there at 10am, asked about progress at 11am & told that mechanics would look at it in another hour 2 hrs - took car away without any work being performed. Episode 2:**Update**: Big thanks to Gary for going above & beyond to resolve this for us - I am happy to report that customer service is taken seriously at Hyundai Chelmsford. GJ.

Not really anything to share. This was a recall on an Ionic. The work was completed in two hours so I was pleased that I had not waited. In terms of MPG the car is not performing as I had hoped/expected. I did have an interesting discussion with Nick, the workshop manager. N My thanks go to Nick.

First-time service at this dealer and probably the best for many a year. Greeted with a warm, welcoming smile, had a coffee, and waited on a comfy sofa. Finished at the agreed time and was out the door with the minimum of fuss.
